3/4 cup Butter
1 cup Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1/4 cup Black Strap Molasses
2 cups of All Purpose Flour 
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Ginger
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Ground Cloves
plus an additional 1/2 cup of White Sugar for rolling.

Cream butter, brown sugar, molasses & egg together until fluffy.
Shift all dry ingredients together & fold into creamed mixture.
Shape into 3/4" balls & roll in white sugar.
Bake at 375' for 8-10 min.
Makes 72 cookies.
